Recent data from the transport department has revealed a remarkable 20% increase in electric vehicle (EV) sales in Delhi during the first half of the current fiscal year compared to the same period last year. In contrast, sales of diesel-powered vehicles have experienced a sharp decline of more than 24% over the same timeframe. Delhi residents purchased 32,400 EVs by September 30, a significant increase from the 26,936 sold the previous year.
