7 Maoists Killed, 3 ITBP Personnel Injured In Encounter In Chhattisgarh

Narayanpur: Seven Maoists were killed and three jawans from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police were injured in an encounter in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district on Friday, police said. The gunfight took place at around 3 pm in a forest near Gobel and Thulthuli villages in Orchha area, where a joint team of security personnel was out on an anti-Maoist operation, a senior police official said.
