Why Election Commission postponed voting, results for Haryana Assembly polls

The Election Commission of India on Saturday announced the rescheduling of the Haryana Assembly elections. The poll body said the voting will be held in the state on October 5 instead of October 1 and the votes will be counted on October 8.
