Kejriwal accuses BJP of "ruining" education, says ruling party wants entire country illiterate

Arvind Kejriwal, national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday morning, accusing the centrally located ruling party of "ruining" education. He made fun of the ruling party by claiming that the BJP aims to keep the entire nation "illiterate" in reference to the Gujarat model.

"The Gujarat model is this. The BJP hopes to apply this concept throughout the entire nation. This model has two engines. They wish to maintain illiteracy over the entire nation. On X, Kejriwal, the former chief minister of Delhi, asked, "Tell me one state where they have a government and they haven't destroyed education there."

The BJP, he added, was "destroying" Delhi's educational system as well." Under this model, they are now trying to destroy the education system of Delhi as well," Kejriwal stated. He was reacting to a tweet made by Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), after a news article that stated, "Zero students passed Class 10 in 157 schools."
