IIT Delhi Prof. Manmohan Prasad Gupta to take charge as new director of IIM Lucknow

Manmohan Prasad Gupta, a professor at IIT Delhi, will shortly take over as director of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Lucknow. On Wednesday, the institute made this announcement in a succinct press release. The announcement said, "IIM Lucknow is happy to announce that Prof. Manmohan Prasad Gupta, who is currently a professor at IIT Delhi, will be taking charge as the institute's Director shortly."
Professor Gupta is a renowned professor at IIT Delhi's Department of Management Studies. Harcourt Butler Technical University (previously Harcourt Butler Technological Institute), Kanpur, is where he obtained his B.Tech. After that, he graduated from IIT Delhi with an M.Tech in 1985 and a Ph.D. in 1990.
At IIT Roorkee, where he started his academic career, Prof. Gupta held the positions of Lecturer from 1990 to 1996 and Assistant Professor from 1996 to 1997. He began working at IIT Delhi in 1997 as an assistant professor and has been ever since. Since 2017, he has been on the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) scale and was promoted to Professor. At the moment, he is a professor at IIT Delhi with the Modi Foundation Chair.
