CBI conducts searches in alleged irregularities in Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission examination

According to officials on Friday, the CBI searched five locations in Chhattisgarh in relation to purported anomalies in a recruitment test administered by the state Public Service Commission during the previous Congress regime. Five people's belongings were searched at three places in Raipur and two in Mahasamund districts on Thursday. According to an official release, the agency found incriminating documents at these locations.

In connection with alleged irregularities in a recruitment exam given by the state Public Service Commission under the previous Congress administration, the CBI reportedly inspected five places in Chhattisgarh on Friday, according to officials. On Thursday, three locations in Raipur and two in Mahasamund districts had the possessions of five people searched. The agency discovered damning documents at these places, according to an official statement.

Taman Singh Sonwani, the former chairman of the CGPSC, his nephews Nitesh and Sahil Sonwani, Lalit Ganvir, the deputy controller of examinations for the CGPSC, Shravan Kumar Goyal, the director of Shri Bajrang Power and Ispat Ltd, his son Shashank Goyal, and his daughter-in-law Bhumika Katiyar are among the seven people the central agency has detained thus far, according to the statement.
