Seelampur murder: ‘Lady don’ Zikra detained as victim's family demands justice

According to ANI, "Lady don" Zikra, a suspect in the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Delhi's Seelampur, was taken into custody by police on Friday. In addition to Zikra, three other individuals have been arrested in relation to the murder at Seelampur.

Following the deadly stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in the Seelampur neighborhood, Delhi Police had stated that it was looking into the role of Zikra, a woman who worked as a bouncer for the wife of incarcerated criminal Hashim Baba. Zikra, a local woman known as the "lady don" in the neighborhood, was at the murder scene when Kunal was killed, according to the deceased's relatives, the officer added.

After reviewing CCTV footage from the area, police have identified two suspects, Sahil and Rehan, in the stabbing of 17-year-old Kunal in New Seelampur on Thursday night, according to Joint Commissioner of Police (Eastern Range), Pushpendra Kumar. Ziqra lived at Seelampur as well. Fifteen days prior to the murder, she had been released from prison under the Arms Act. She is well known for always having a gun on her person.
