‘Ye to ulti baat…’: Kapil Sibal hits back at Vice President Dhankhar’s ‘super parliament’ remark on SC ruling

In response to the Supreme Court's ruling on Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi's refusal to give his assent to bills, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal chastised Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday, stating that the Vice President ought to be aware that the President and governors act with the "assistance and advice" of the council of ministers. This occurs as Dhankar attacks the highest court, claiming that it cannot turn into a "super parliament" and start giving the President of India orders.
According to Kapil Sibal, the governor's decision to withhold bills constituted a real "intrusion on the supremacy of the legislature." "Vice President Dhankar ji should be aware of this. He inquires as to how the president's powers might be limited, but who is doing so? In my opinion, a minister should visit the governor for two years in order to bring up matters of public concern. Will the governor be able to overlook them? Sibal was reported by ANI as stating.
The Supreme Court Bar Association's president, Sibal, questioned whether the president could postpone the execution of the bill passed by the parliament indefinitely.
