Drunk man bites off his wife's finger in Noida, arrested

A guy from Noida's Sector 12 has been detained for chewing off his wife's finger while drunk, police said on Saturday. The arrested individual, Anoop Manchanda, has been jailed, according to reports. Shyam Babu Shukla, in-charge of Sector 24 station, told PTI that the event occurred on April 16.

"Anoop Manchanda went home inebriated around 10 p.m. on Wednesday and began hitting his wife after starting a fight. He bit off a finger from her left hand, separating it from her palm.

Shukla stated that a case was opened when the woman, Shashi Manchanda, filed a complaint on April 17. Manchanda was then detained and sent to jail, according to the officer.
