Mini bus crashes into parked Indigo aircraft at Bengaluru airport, no injuries reported

An airport official stated that a ground handling agency's minibus collided with a stationary Indigo aircraft at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru on Friday afternoon. Fortunately, there were no injuries recorded during the incident. According to an official statement from Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), the accident happened about 12:15 p.m. on April 18. The vehicle apparently collided with the undercarriage of a non-operational aircraft parked at the airport.
"The incident involved a third-party ground vehicle making contact with an Aircraft on Ground (AOG)," the representative explained, adding that the aircraft was not in service at the time of the tragedy.
Following the crash, airport authorities promptly conducted regular safety procedures and consulted with all appropriate agencies to analyze the situation. "We followed all relevant protocols in close collaboration with our stakeholders. "The safety and well-being of passengers, airline partners, and airport personnel remains our top priority," the statement continued.
