'Kill them on the spot’: Anguished families of Pahalgam attack victims demand swift justice

A day after 26 people, mostly tourists, were gunned down by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, their families sought heavy punishment for the murderers. Bhagwan Das, the uncle of Neeraj Udhwani, who died in the attack, stated that terrorists should be murdered on the spot, regardless of religion or caste.

"He died in a terrorist attack. His wife was also there, and she is safe. They had traveled there for a vacation...We demand that the government murder the accused..."I believe that terrorists, regardless of religion or caste, should be killed on the spot," he told ANI.

Rajshree Akul, the sister-in-law of Pahalgam terror attack victim Atul Mone, also requested that the government punish the perpetrators immediately. "We learned that he (Atul Mone) was slain in the attack. He received a shot in the stomach. "We request that the terrorists be punished severely without delay," she stated. The attackers also killed Sushil Nathaniel (58), who had traveled to Jammu and Kashmir with his wife, daughter, and son to celebrate Easter.
