Meerut woman married to Pakistani denied crossover at Wagah over Indian passport

A Meerut woman married to a Pakistani was deported at the Wagah border with her two children for possessing an Indian passport. Sana, a native of Meerut's Sardhana district, had arrived in India with her two children on a 45-day visa, but when she attempted to pass the Wagah border on April 24, she was barred. Her relatives said she was refused to return to Pakistan because she held an Indian passport.
However, the authorities stated that her children may cross the border because they were Pakistani nationals. Sana refused to send her kids alone. On Saturday, Sana informed reporters that she was asked to leave India because her visa had expired. She claimed her husband and in-laws were waiting on the opposite side of the border, but she was unable to meet them. "My children insisted on visiting their father, but I needed to return. "I couldn't let them be separated from me," she explained.
Meerut Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rakesh Kumar Mishra stated that Sana has called the local police station over the situation. "If any new information comes to light, it's cognizance will be taken," according to him.
