On Saturday, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar denounced the BJP protests against the price hike, referring to it as the "pitamah" of price increases.
"The 'pitamah' of price increases is the BJP. The farmers will profit from our increase in the price of milk. According to the Deputy Chief Minister, he met with the minister of irrigation and civil aviation during his visit to Delhi, and they decided to arrange a meeting of Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka to discuss the water issue of the Krishna River.
"We met with the minister of irrigation and civil aviation in Delhi, and they agreed to hold meetings in Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka to discuss the water issue of the Krishna River," he stated. The court is currently the only option because we know Tamil Nadu would not assist on the Kaveri water issue."
