Is too much exercise harming your heart? Cardiologist provides warning indicators and preventative tips

Everyone wants to be inspired in the gym and push themselves to obtain their ideal figure and fitness. However, doing too much can have a negative impact on our heart health. Dr. Nimit C Shah, consultant interventional cardiologist at Saifee Hospital in Mumbai, said, "Pushing yourself at the gym can be exciting, but don't forget that aching from exercise is not always a sign of becoming stronger; it could be a message from your heart."
The cardiologist stated that an excessive workout mixed with insufficient rest can cause an imbalance and lead to major health problems. Here are the indicators that the heart may be experiencing too much effort while exercising:
Chest pain: A sensation of tightness, pressure, or burning may suggest a cardiac condition.
Shortness of breath: Excessive effort to breathe, often in conjunction with dizziness, might be a sign of an underlying cardiac problem.
Strange fatigue: Excessive tiredness after minimal effort may indicate cardiovascular problems.
Irregular heartbeat: An irregular heartbeat during exercise that is too quick, too slow, or not rhythmic can indicate a problem.
Dizziness: Feeling dizzy or disconnected during exercise may indicate that your heart is straining to pump enough blood.
Cold sweats: Excessive sweating or cold sweats at repose can sometimes be an early warning sign.
