Kangana Ranaut Urges Immediate Release of Influencer Sharmishta Panoli: 'Stop the Harassment'

Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has demanded the immediate release of Instagram influencer Sharmishta Panoli, who was arrested by Kolkata Police in Gurugram, Haryana, on Friday night. On Saturday, Kangana shared a message on her Instagram Stories, acknowledging that while Sharmishta may have used ‘unpleasant’ language in the controversial video, it does not justify continued harassment or mistreatment.

What Kangana said

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kangana wrote, “I agree that Sharmistha used some unpleasant words for her expression but such words most youngsters use these days, she apologised for her statements and that should be enough, no need to bully or harass her further, she should be released immediately.”
