Lucknow: LDA to Convert Rented Properties to Freehold Soon

Lucknow News: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has decided to convert its rented properties into freehold. This decision will not only bring relief to tenants but also ease the authority’s concerns over property possession issues.

LDA owns over 3,000 such properties across various parts of the city that are currently rented out. Many of these properties do not yield proper rental income, while several others are entangled in legal disputes. Taking these circumstances into account, the LDA has decided to offer tenants the option to convert their rented properties into freehold ownership.
