RCB star slams match-winning six in Vidarbha T20 League

Star Royal Challengers Bengaluru wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma on Friday played a match-winning knock for the Neco Master Blaster in the Vidarbha T20 League, smacking a 22-ball 46 in a 205-run chase and ensuring that he took his team over the line with a match-winning six.
Batting first, Bharat Rangers scored a whopping 204, riding on skipper Atharva Taide’s unbeaten 94-run knock and Varun Bisht’s 15-ball 50. Ananmay Jaiswal took two wickets, although he was pretty expensive.
In the chase, NMB wicketkeeper Vedant Dighade and Adhyayan Daga added 84 runs for the opening stand, before the former was dismissed by Gaurav Farde in the ninth over.
Daga and Aryan Meshram then added 52 runs for the second wicket before the former was dismissed by Nachiket Bhute in the 14th over.
Meshram and skipper Jitesh then built a 56-run partnership for the third wicket before the former was dismissed by Shubham Kapse in the penultimate over. At the end of that over, NMB were on 199/3, needing six runs off six balls.
