Fans will be thrilled to know that the action-packed film Pushpa 2: The Rule will premiere on Zee Cinema on May 31 at 7:30 p.m., nearly six months after its blockbuster theatrical release.
The sequel to director Sukumar’s 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise follows Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj, a former daily wage worker who rises to lead a red sandalwood smuggling empire. Rashmika Mandanna stars as Srivalli, Pushpa’s wife.
As Pushpa gains power, he struggles to earn the respect of his estranged stepbrother, Molleti Mohan Rao (Ajay), while facing fierce opposition from enemies like SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil).
Released on December 5, 2024, Pushpa 2 was a massive box office success, grossing Rs 1871 crore worldwide, with its Hindi version playing a major role in making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024
