Gavaskar drops new 'S' word on live TV reacting to Pant’s record ton!

Sunil Gavaskar couldn't hold back his excitement as Rishabh Pant smashed his 7th Test century — overtaking MS Dhoni’s record — with a six off Shoaib Bashir during Day 2 of the 1st Test against England in Leeds.
Known for his blunt critique, especially his earlier “stupid, stupid, stupid” remark for Pant’s shot selection in Melbourne, Gavaskar made a complete turnaround on live TV.
“Superb, superb, superb. Absolutely terrific by the young man,” he exclaimed, applauding Pant’s milestone.
Pant’s latest hundred makes him India’s most prolific wicketkeeper-batter in Test history. Notably, six of his seven centuries have come in SENA countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia). Had he converted his seven 90-plus scores into tons, he'd already be close to Adam Gilchrist’s world record of 17 Test hundreds by a keeper-batter.
