Trump slams Israel, Iran for breaking ceasefire in fiery outburst

Former U.S. President Donald Trump urged Israel to "calm down," stating that both Israel and Iran violated a ceasefire he attempted to broker.

Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Trump said, “I’ve got to get Israel to calm down now.” He claimed that immediately after the ceasefire was agreed upon, Israel launched an intense bombing campaign. “As soon as we made the deal, they came out and dropped a load of bombs—the biggest I’ve ever seen,” he remarked.

Trump added, “These are two countries that have been fighting for so long, they don’t even know what they’re doing anymore.”
