A terrifying incident unfolded in China’s Guizhou province when heavy rains triggered a landslide, causing a section of the Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway in Zunyi city to collapse early Tuesday morning. Dramatic footage shows a cargo truck left hanging precariously over the edge, its front cabin suspended in mid-air as the road beneath it gave way.
Driver’s Harrowing Escape
The truck driver, You Guochun, described the heart-stopping moment: “I felt the ground sink, hit the brakes, but suddenly the bridge disappeared in front of me. I froze in fear.” Emergency crews quickly arrived, using ladders to safely rescue him. Miraculously, no injuries were reported.
