Mumbai ANC Busts Andheri Drug Ring, Seizes ₹2.36 Cr Narcotics"

In a major blow to the narcotics nexus in Mumbai, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Crime Branch seized drugs worth over Rs 2.36 crore from Andheri West.
Two people have also been arrested in separate raids carried out by the Azad Maidan and Kandivali units.
The first raid was executed on July 7, acting on a tip-off by the Azad Maidan Unit, which raided the Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri West. The Azad Maidan unit of the Anti-Narcotics cell arrested a 46-year-old with 703 grams of charas and 104 grams of mephedrone (MD). The ANC also recovered Rs 18 lakh in cash. The total value of the seizure is estimated at Rs 1.14 crore, including the drugs.
The following day, on July 8, the Kandivali Unit, while patrolling the Versova area in Andheri Westapprehended a 31-year-old man allegedly in possession of 306 grams of heroin. The seized heroin was valued at approximately Rs 1.22 crore.
