Man Utd 0-0 Leeds: Cunha debuts as Amorim's side held in friendly opener

Manchester United kicked off their pre-season campaign with a 0-0 draw against newly-promoted Leeds United in Stockholm. Despite handing a debut to £62.5 million signing Matheus Cunha, who featured in the first half, United struggled to show any notable improvement in attack following a poor goal-scoring season.

Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo both struck the woodwork, but it was Leeds who looked threatening at times, with Largie Ramazani creating some of the best chances. Manager Ruben Amorim will be seeking sharper finishing ahead of the new season after last year’s disappointing 44-goal tally in the Premier League.
