Gunfight erupts in J&K's Kishtwar, security forces launch major anti-terror op

Jammu: An encounter broke out on Sunday between militants and security forces in the Dachhan area of Kishtwar district.

A senior police official stated that the operation was launched following specific intelligence inputs about suspicious movement in the region. Acting on the tip-off, security personnel cordoned off the area and began a search operation.
