PM Modi meets King Charles after India and UK sign free trade deal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met King Charles in the United Kingdom on Thursday, hours after the signing of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement.
The meeting marked a significant diplomatic moment, highlighting the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two nations.
The British royal family in a post on X said that King Charles III received PM Modi at Sandringham House on Thursday afternoon. During the meeting, the King was presented with a tree to be planted this autumn, inspired by PM Modi's environmental initiative "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam", a campaign encouraging individuals to plant a tree in honour of their mothers.
During their time together, His Majesty was given a tree to be planted this Autumn, inspired by the environmental initiative launched by the Prime Minister, "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, which encourages people to plant a tree in tribute to their mothers," the royal family said in the post.
