Landowners along Varanasi‑Ranchi‑Kolkata expressway to get compensation July 26–Aug 5

Varanasi-Ranch-Kolkata Expressway: In order to ensure compensation payment to the owners of the land acquired for the construction work of Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Greenfield Expressway under Bharat Mala Project in Bihar's Kaimur, the district administration is taking a special initiative and organizing a payment camp, jagran.com reported.
According to the order received from the DM, those raiyats of various mauzas (villages) in whose favour the compensation order has been passed by the arbitrator court, have been called for payment through camps organized in the respective panchayats, villages. For this, camps will be organized in 27 revenue villages from July 26 to August 5.
Key Points Related To The Camp
The date and place has been fixed for each village, where the concerned raiyats will be required to appear with the necessary documents. The arbitrator court has passed an order to pay compensation to 742 raiyats of a total of 27 villages, most of whom have not yet submitted an application for payment.
The process of checking, verification of documents related to land acquisition and application for compensation payment will be completed in the camp.
