In a strong attack, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia accused Congress of repeatedly disrespecting the OBC community, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Rahul Gandhi, out on bail and facing corruption charges, has consistently insulted the OBCs,” Bhatia told ANI, calling Congress "the most corrupt party."
Bhatia also questioned Rahul’s support for leaders like Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, both of whom face corruption allegations.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Udit Raj stirred controversy by calling Rahul Gandhi the “second Ambedkar” during the Bhagidari Nyay Sammelan. Praising Rahul’s pitch for a nationwide caste census, Raj said, “If OBCs truly understand what Rahul said, he will prove to be their second Ambedkar.”
He also highlighted Rahul’s belief that caste census and social justice can boost economic growth and reduce inequality.
