Chirag slams Nitish govt over ambulance rape: 'Ashamed to support it'

Chirag Paswan, leader of the LJP (Ram Vilas) and NDA ally, strongly criticised the Bihar government on Saturday over the recent surge in serious crimes. “It saddens me to support a government where crime is so rampant. If this isn’t brought under control, the lives of Bihar’s people will continue to be endangered, and the state will face serious consequences,” Paswan said, directly targeting JD(U), led by Nitish Kumar.

His remarks came in response to a horrific incident in which an unconscious woman, who had fainted during a Home Guard recruitment test, was allegedly raped inside an ambulance by its driver and a technician — further fueling public outrage over law and order in the state.
