Fans of Game of Thrones were in for a surprise when Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, famously known for playing Jaime Lannister, was spotted at the popular Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. The unexpected sighting was first revealed in an Instagram reel by Shakira, an engineer-turned-content creator, who noticed the actor in the background while filming herself.
The video shows Coster-Waldau, casually dressed in a black shirt and hat, enjoying idlis and dosas with two fellow tourists. Delighted, Shakira approached him for a selfie, which he kindly obliged.
Sharing the encounter, she captioned, “So I was at @therameshwaramcafe, Bengaluru when I was randomly filming myself and just found @nikolajwilliamcw aka Jaime Lannister from @gameofthrones standing just behind me — it was a star-struck moment.”
Later, the Rameshwaram Cafe’s official Instagram account also shared a photo of the actor and his team, calling the visit “a star-studded moment.” Their post expressed gratitude for his visit and excitement over hosting such a globally recognized actor.
The wholesome moment quickly went viral, thrilling fans across India.
