Cameron Green’s unbeaten 55 and Josh Inglis’ quick-fire 51 powered Australia to a narrow three-wicket victory over the West Indies in the fourth T20I on Saturday, securing a 4–0 lead in the five-match series.

Batting first after losing the toss, West Indies posted a competitive 205/9. Despite early breakthroughs by the hosts, Australia chased down the 206-run target with four balls to spare. Glenn Maxwell also starred with a blazing 47 off just 18 balls, smashing six sixes and a four.

Australia’s chase wasn’t without drama. Tim David was rested, and early setbacks, including Mitchell Marsh’s second-ball duck and Inglis’ dismissal in the seventh over, left the Aussies under pressure at 66/2. Maxwell’s departure soon after drinks for 47 and a triple strike from Jediah Blades (3 wickets) stalled momentum.

Aaron Hardie’s 23 helped stabilize the innings before Green and Sean Abbott guided Australia to victory. Green sealed the win with two runs, followed by Abbott’s final single, ending the game with Australia at 206/7.

The Caribbean side had no standout scorers, with Sherfane Rutherford’s 31 being the top. Australian fielding was sharp — Xavier Bartlett removed Brandon King and Shai Hope, while Maxwell and Hardie delivered spectacular catches. Adam Zampa and Mitchell Owen chipped in with key dismissals, while rain delayed the final overs by 55 minutes.

Series Status:

Australia now lead 4-0 and are poised for a clean sweep when the final match takes place on Monday at Warner Park.
