Recently, Sonakshi Sinha expressed her frustration over the growing intrusion of paparazzi into celebrities’ lives. She also spoke candidly about the issue of body shaming. Here's what she had to say on both topics:
In a recent interview with Times Now, Sonakshi said, "What has social media become? What is this paparazzi culture now? You can’t even attend a funeral without getting photographed. I find that very strange. After a point, you just have to ignore all of this, but it does take time to get used to."
She strongly criticized how the paparazzi often cross personal boundaries, even during deeply emotional moments, calling it intrusive and disturbing.
Apart from this, Sonakshi opened up about her experience with body shaming. She shared how, throughout her career, she has been trolled for her weight but chose to stay focused on her health and well-being.
"I’ve always taken a practical approach. I wanted to be someone who was healthy, and that’s the example I wanted to set for my fans as well," she said.
Sonakshi emphasized that people should focus on being healthy rather than fitting into unrealistic beauty standards set by society. Her words reflect a powerful message for today’s youth, especially those struggling with self-image due to social media pressures.
