The Indian stock market will remain closed on August 27, 2025, on account of Ganesh Chaturthi, as per the list of market holidays released by both the NSE and BSE. This means there will be no trading activity in the Equity Segment, Derivatives Segment, and SLB Segment for the day. Investors and traders must plan their positions accordingly, keeping in mind the one-day halt in trading.
While stock exchanges will remain shut, normal trading will resume on August 28, 2025. Apart from Ganesh Chaturthi, the year 2025 includes several other market holidays for festivals like Diwali, Holi, and Eid, as well as national observances. Such planned closures allow investors to align their strategies and avoid last-minute surprises in the stock market calendar.
