In the Wada taluka of Maharashtra's Palghar district, two teenage boys attending an ashram school are accused of killing themselves by hanging themselves from a tree, according to authorities on Thursday. They stated that no suicide note was discovered at the scene and that the reason for the drastic action was still unknown. The occurrence happened on the intervening nights of Wednesday and Thursday.
Jawhar's Deputy Superintendent of Police Sameer Maher and Wada police station senior inspector Datta Kindre informed PTI that the victims were in Class 9 and Class 10 and were 14 and 15 years old, respectively. According to them, the bodies were brought to a government hospital for a post-mortem after the police were notified of the occurrence in the early hours of Thursday.
According to the victims, they hung themselves from a tree on the grounds of the government-run ashram school in Ambiste hamlet using nylon ropes intended for drying clothing. Exams are currently being administered at the school, according to the police. The pupils were from the district's Mokhada taluka, which is about 80 kilometers away from their ashram school.
