"Dedicated to destroying the terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir," Amit Shah stated at a high-level security meeting

A high-level meeting on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir was conducted by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday, October 9, according to sources. Senior officials from the Union territory and the center, including Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Director of the Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka, J&K Police Chief Nalin Prabhat, CRPF DG GP Singh, and BSF DG Daljit Singh Chawdhary, attended the meeting.
According to the officials, the discussion included a review of the ongoing development initiatives in the UT as well as the security situation in the Pir Panjal region. Shah presided over the most recent review meeting on Jammu and Kashmir on September 1.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi administration's steadfast dedication to attaining the objective of a Jammu and Kashmir free from terrorism was reiterated by the Home Minister. He said that the terrorist network in Jammu and Kashmir, which was fostered by the country's enemies, had been nearly destroyed as a result of the security forces' tenacious efforts.
