Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, spoke at the annual RSS Vijayadashmi rally on Thursday. It also marked the centennial of the organization, which was established in Nagpur on Dussehra in 1925 by Maharashtra physician Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. The Pahalgam attack, US tariffs, the unrest in India's neighbors, and climate change were among the topics Bhagwat covered in his Vijayadashmi speech.
"The regime change in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and more recently Nepal due to violent outburst of public anger is a concern for us. The forces wanting to create such disturbances in Bharat are active inside as well as outside our country." Nonetheless, violent outbursts are unable to effect the desired change. Only democratic methods can bring about such a change in society.
"These neighboring nations are connected to Bharat through shared cultural heritage and enduring relationships among their citizens." They are, in a sense, members of our own family. Our innate connection to these nations necessitates peace, stability, prosperity, and the provision of comfort and well-being.
