Trump's response to Hamas's announcement regarding Israeli hostages: "Too risky to..."

In response to Hamas' decision to free the remaining hostages from the 2023 attack on Israel, US President Donald Trump issued an order on Friday for Israel to cease attacking the Gaza Strip. His proposal to put an end to the nearly two-year conflict and return all of the hostages still held from the October 7, 2023, attack was partially accepted by Hamas.
Despite the fact that the terrorist organization did not address other important aspects of his 20-point proposal—such as disarming—that Israel has also sought, Donald Trump responded favorably to the Hamas announcement. "I think Hamas is prepared for a sustainable peace based on the statement they just released. In order to securely and swiftly free the hostages, Israel must immediately cease attacking Gaza. Trump stated on his Truth Social social media account.
It's much too risky to do that at this time. We are currently discussing the specifics that need to be worked out. The US president went on to say, "This is about long-sought PEACE in the Middle East, not just about Gaza. Hamas agreed to free the other hostages, but stated that additional Palestinian negotiations are needed on other parts of the plan. Senior Hamas leaders indicated that more talks were necessary because there were still significant differences.
