Air India and Taiwan-based STARLUX Airlines announced an interline partnership on Wednesday with the goal of increasing travel options throughout Asia. In a statement, Air India stated that this partnership permits single-ticket itineraries that combine flights from both airlines, allowing for coordinated baggage management and simplified travel for passengers.
Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Kuala Lumpur are among the Southeast Asia gateways that Air India customers can use to reach Taipei as a result of this partnership. By virtue of these shared gateways, STARLUX users would, on the other hand, have access to Indian cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi, the statement continued.
Air India's Chief Commercial Officer, Nipun Aggarwal, stated: "We are thrilled to collaborate with STARLUX Airlines, a luxury full-service airline, to expand our customers' travel options to Taiwan. This interline agreement invites STARLUX Airlines customers to enjoy India's varied cities in full-service comfort via our extensive network, which is in perfect harmony with Air India's dedication to providing our guests with exceptional experiences.
