IIM Ahmedabad has launched a first-of-its-kind two-year blended MBA programme in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, aimed at professionals and entrepreneurs who want to combine managerial leadership with deep analytics and AI fluency.
The degree-granting programme is delivered in a blended mode — live, direct-to-device learning complemented by three on-campus modules at IIMA — and follows a three-term structure across each year to balance online flexibility with intensive face-to-face immersion. The curriculum is case-based and emphasises action learning: students work on capstone projects, industry engagements and cross-functional problem solving to translate analytics into measurable business outcomes.
IIMA says the new MBA responds to market demand as firms embed AI across value chains and require leaders who can marry strategy with technical understanding. The programme offers 20 electives spanning Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics, Product Management, Finance and Risk Management, Human–AI Collaboration, AI Ethics and Policy, Supply Chain Digitisation, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
