Deepti Chaurasia Suicide Kamla Pasand Abuse Allegations

The death of Deepti Chaurasia, the 40-year-old daughter-in-law of Kamal Kishore Chaurasia, the owner of the prominent Kamla Pasand Pan Masala brand, has plunged one of Delhi’s wealthiest business families into a staggering high-profile controversy. Deepti was found tragically hanging at the family’s lavish Vasant Vihar residence in South Delhi, a case the police are currently investigating as an alleged suicide. While the circumstances surrounding the death are under intense scrutiny, the narrative has been dramatically complicated by damning allegations raised by the deceased’s immediate family.

Deepti’s brother, Rishabh Chaurasia, wasted no time in making highly sensational claims that point toward a troubled marriage and a history of abuse. Rishabh alleged that his sister was subjected to relentless marital torture and physical assault by both her husband, Harpreet Chaurasia, and her mother-in-law. Further fueling the fire of the burgeoning business family scandal, he specifically claimed that her husband was involved in extramarital affairs, with some reports even suggesting a second marriage to a South Indian film actress—an allegation the police have yet to officially confirm.
