Legislators and Educators hail National Education Policy at Bharat Siksha Summit 2025
The Balaji Foundation hosted the day-long Bharat Siksha Summit 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, where the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was the main event. Leaders from a wide range of political and educational backgrounds attended the seminar, highlighting the policy's revolutionary potential and emphasizing its focus on innovation, multilingual education, and bridging the gap between academics and industry.
In his speech, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir asked the populace to acknowledge and honor India's long legacy of education. He emphasized how the NEP changed the emphasis from rote memorizing to encouraging creativity and critical thinking in the classroom.
In order to develop character, Lieutenant Governor Sinha also emphasized the significance of incorporating moral principles into the classroom. "Hearing our inner voice is not enough; we need to put in a lot of effort to reach our full potential," he stated.
