Aamir Khan Recalls Getting Drunk on His 60th Birthday: "I Tend to Go to Extremes

In a recent candid interview, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan opened up about an unforgettable – yet entirely forgotten – night: his 60th birthday celebration. Speaking to Mashable India, Aamir revealed that while his family had planned a grand party with close friends, he remembers none of it due to getting completely drunk.

“I usually don’t drink anymore, but that day I thought, ‘Why not?’” Aamir said. “I’m not someone who restricts himself; I’m an extreme person.” The party began at 7 pm and by 9, Aamir was “buzzing.” While he appeared to interact normally during the evening, the next morning brought a blank slate. “It was scary,” he admitted, adding that only pictures and videos helped him piece together what happened.

On the professional front, Aamir Khan is preparing for the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, the sequel to his beloved 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, scheduled to premiere on June 20, 2025.
