Ex-IAF pilot to Pakistan: Lost jets, but you lost face – accept it
Former Indian Air Force fighter pilot Ajay Ahlawat on Sunday responded sharply to Pakistani commentators following the recent four-day conflict. Addressing criticism on social media, Ahlawat asserted that while India may have lost a few jets, Pakistan suffered a far greater loss — its credibility.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he wrote:
“We lost a few jets. We didn’t lose a single pilot. Accept it, and move on. We struck deep inside Pakistan with precision, at will, across its length and breadth. That’s the bottom line.”
He emphasized that India's successful strikes exposed Pakistan’s inability to respond effectively, leaving them, in his words, “with a loss of face.”
