In a landmark achievement, Shubhanshu Shukla has embarked on India’s first human spaceflight in 41 years as part of the Axiom-4 mission, alongside astronauts from the US, Hungary, and Poland. The crew successfully launched toward the International Space Station (ISS), marking a new chapter in India’s space exploration journey.

This mission also marks a major milestone for Hungary and Poland, sending astronauts after decades. India now eyes its Gaganyaan mission, solidifying its position in global space exploration.
