CDS Chauhan: Pak’s 48-hr plan crushed by India in 8 hours

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan on Tuesday said that Pakistan escalated tensions with India by launching a series of attacks on the night of May 10 — three days after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Speaking at Savitribai Phule Pune University, CDS Chauhan said, “At around 1 am on May 10, Pakistan launched multiple attacks with the aim of bringing India to its knees within 48 hours. In doing so, they escalated the conflict, while our strikes were focused solely on terror targets.”
