Pant likely fit for 4th Test: Gill assures on wicketkeeper's recovery
India captain Shubman Gill has confirmed that injured Rishabh Pant will be playing the 4th Test match against England. Pant looked in excruciating pain on Day 5 morning, taking his hand off the handle every time the ball hit his bat.
Shubman, however, confirmed that Pant did not have any major injury and would be fit to play the 4th Test match in Manchester, which starts on July 23, 9 days later.
I think Rishabh is fine-he didn't suffer a major injury, which is good news. I think he should be fine for the next Test match," Shubman Gill said at the post-match press conference after their defeat at Lord's.
