Dubai debuts first AI-human content classification system

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, approved the launch of the first-of-its-kind global classification, developed by the Dubai Future Foundation, which demonstrates the extent to which machine intelligence collaborates with humans in research, production, and dissemination of creative, scientific, research, intellectual, and academic content.

The new classification reflects Dubai's commitment to actively participating in the global technological movement to promote the beneficial uses of future technology applications.

Sheikh Hamdan said, 'Distinguishing between human creativity and artificial intelligence has become a real challenge in light of the significant development of technology, which requires a new approach to clarifying the role of machine intelligence in our work and productivity... That's why we launched the first global classification of its kind, which includes five main categories that determine the level of collaboration between humans and technology in the production and dissemination of content, including reports, research and academic studies, images, media materials, and digital content in general in all its forms.
