UP Dy CM Maurya coins Akhilesh’s PDA politics as “Pariwar Development Agency”

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Saturday said that Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's " PDA" slogan--"pichre" (meaning backward), Dalit and "alpashankhak" (minority) focused politics is "completely fake" and jibed that it should be dubbed as a "Pariwar Development Agency," which serves only the latter's family members.

Maurya claimed that public discontent over the SP government's track record led to the BJP's landslide victory in 2017.

Addressing reporters in Lucknow, Maurya said, "Akhilesh Yadav's PDA, Pariwar Development Agency, is completely fake. He was the chief minister from 2012 to 2017, and if he oppressed anyone the most, it was the OBCs, Dalits and the poor. Just by recalling his tenure, people start to tremble with fear because his power is only for hooligans, criminals, the mafia, and rioters."

Due to this, the people handed over the state to the BJP in 2017 and decided that the SP has no future until 2047," he added.

Maurya has been invited to attend a personal program at the residence of former MP Shri Ganga Charan Rajput.

In a post on X he wrote "At the residence of former MP Shri Ganga Charan Rajput ji in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, I had the privilege of performing the Rudrabhishek and worship of Lord Mahadev."

On this occasion, I had an affectionate meeting with the family members of Hon. MLA Shri Brijbhushan Rajput ji and extended heartfelt birthday wishes to his esteemed son," he added further.
