Salman Khan Recalls Life Lesson from Dad Salim Khan, Regrets Delay
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently shared a heartfelt message on social media, revealing a life lesson his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, imparted to him. The actor expressed that he wished he had heard the advice earlier in life — but believes it's never too late to change.
In an Instagram post featuring a photo of himself in a black T-shirt, Salman wrote:
“Present becomes your past, past catches up to your future. Present is a gift—do right with it. Mistakes repeated become a habit and then your character. Don’t blame anyone. No one can make you do anything you don’t want to. My dad just said this to me, it’s so true. Kash I heard this earlier but never too late.”
The cryptic yet powerful message resonated with fans, who flooded the comments with heart emojis and words of admiration. “Your caption is so beautiful and true,” wrote one user, while another said, “Super bhaijaan.”
Salman Khan's Upcoming Films
On the professional front, Salman was last seen in Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and others. Despite a strong cast and direction by A.R. Murugadoss, the film struggled at the box office. Salman portrayed Sanjay "Sikandar" Rajkot, a man haunted by his past and seeking redemption.
Next, Salman will appear in Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clashes at the India-China border. Salman will be seen in an Indian Army uniform, portraying the real-life grit of soldiers during the confrontation, in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives.
Tensions have since eased through military disengagements and buffer zones, but the incident remains a significant chapter in modern India-China relations.
Salman Khan had earlier announced the film via a gripping motion poster, building excitement among fans for his intense military role.
