Countries that backed India and Pakistan during the Kargil War

Kargil War was the time when the Indian Armed Forces showcased their prowess, defeating Pakistan. The neighbouring country was badly defeated in the war on both diplomatic and military fronts.

If we talk about Operation Sindoor, the United States' attitude towards Pakistan was quite soft and sympathetic, but during the Kargil War the situation was completely different, and the then US president Bill Clinton was not happy with Pak and behaved very rudely with Nawaz Sharif.

Notably, Sharif's offer to meet in private was rejected by Clinton. He even told the then Pak PM that 'I already told you that if you do not withdraw your troops unconditionally, then there is no need to come here.'
