BookMyShow-RuPay Launches ‘Live Events Passport’ Access

BookMyShow, India’s leading live music promoter and ticketing platform, has partnered with RuPay, the NPCI-managed domestic card network, for a year-long collaboration spanning digital platforms and on-ground events. RuPay cardholders will receive exclusive perks such as online pre-sale ticket access, dedicated lounges, premium zones, event merchandise benefits, and priority lanes for top-ups.

These privileges will apply to marquee events including the 2025 Sunburn Festival, the 2026 editions of Lollapalooza India, and Bandland in Bengaluru—which is moving from its usual December slot to February next year. The move follows similar tie-ups in the industry, such as EVA Live’s partnership with MasterCard in June.

BookMyShow has a history of teaming with financial brands, including Kotak Mahindra Bank for Guns N’ Roses and Maroon 5’s Mumbai gigs, and HSBC for Ed Sheeran’s six-city tour earlier this year. This latest alliance with RuPay is designed to elevate fan experiences through early access, premium amenities, and tailored event privileges.
